Catchin' up. . .

We took the kids to the Lane County Fair this afteroon. It was fun, but a little over priced. However, the kids had tons of fun so it was worth it! We met Scott and his wife there. It was nice to see them!

Tyler really liked this ride.
And this one too...
Dominique is our little dare-devil. Nothing scared her.
Yep; she was tall enough to go on the all "scary" rides.
Tyler hung out and ate cotton-candy due to he fact that he was too little and not really enthusiastic about the scary rides.
Dominique went on this ride all by herself while two older boys cried and had to get off the ride early. Dominique is wearing the cute shades!

Scott and Jenny

Scott and Dominique had tons fun...he was just as excited as Dominique to hit the "scary" rides.
Dominique thought that it was pretty cool to have a partner in crime. Scott even won her this cute little penguin.
Tyler having fun falling backwards and his daddy trying to keep him entertained.
Awww...there are both so handsome!

Dominique went on this ride by herself...can you believe it?!
This one too, but she said this one was for sissies...lol.
We also got to see farm animals. The kids loved that!

This goat must have been a dog in another life, because he kept licking us. Dominique got a kick out of that.
Tyler and I havin' fun. He said that he only laughed and never cried. I am so glad that there were rides for him also!
Goats...
These little ones didn't even wait to be weened before they started butting heads..."kids"!
Awww...I hated telling him that he was too little, but he wouldn't have liked to ride the "scary" ones anyway.
Is this a pig? Why yes, the biggest pig I have ever seen! This thing was literally as big as a horse. The babies were cute...it made me feel bad for having bacon this morning...lol.
Sheep...
Baby pigs...
Monster Truck! Wahoo!
Dominique got a guitar for her birthday and was jamin' with me to Hannah Montana this morning. She is so talented. Guitar lessons will be a must next month! She is so excited to learn how to play!

I love this photo...what more is there to life, right?!

I redecorated Dominique's room for her birthday...this was just one of her many presents. Here are some pictures...I am still adding the final touches.
I spray-painted this little night stand; it used to be princesses, but she is too "old" for them now. They grow up too fast!
I love this new bedding. Dominique's favorite colors are lime-green and purple. I was informed to get rid of EVERYTHING pink...so I did. And I have to admit that I like it...a lot!

I tied every ribbon you see. These candle holders used to be oak. I spray painted them to match her room, but I am still looking for lime green candles.
The old night stand...I like it better this way.
This trash can used to be a plain wocker basket. This was so fun to make!

This little basket was black when I started; I designed it for her pens and pencils. Not too shabby.
I couldn't resist these cute frames. I just added some ribbon and there she be.
Her is a picture of the basket before I painted it and added ribbon.
This frame looks stunning on her night stand.
It took me ten hours to complete this project. When I am completely finished I will show you my masterpiece.
And here are the pankcake I made Dominique for her birthday breakfast. I will post more birthday pictures in the future. For now, I am just tryin to catch up on blogging. So there you have it. Oh yeah, and I love my new job!

I just had to show you, Loree. This cake batter and frosting is all made from scratch!
