Granny and Pappy...woohoo!

Granny and Pappy came to visit us for four days in their new fifth-wheel. We had so much fun camping by the beach, sight seeing, and catching up. We also took them to our favorite Chinese Restaurant; Lok Yaun.

Oh but of course... they came bearing gifts for the kiddos.
Tyler got a snake and light-savor. He plays with his toys every day, and reminds me that Granny and Pappy got it for him, how cute! Pappy also bought Tyler a hunting hat and blazer; it will come in handy when Hunter Saftey rolls around. Until then, Tyler has fun playing the shoot'em up games.
Dominique got lots of goodies. A High-School-Musical music thing-e, not sure what to call it, but it is very cool. Also, a Hannah Montana bag with pencils sticky notes, etc. Dominique couldn't believe all the cool stuff she got. What a thoughtful Granny and Pappy she has!!!

Kris and Pappy left early to go fishing. Our friend, Ray, showed the guys a good time. Pappy even caught a big Salmon, however, it got away.

The kiddos were so happy to spend time with their Granny and Pappy. Nothing is better than roasting marshmallows and catching up on lost time.
Kris and I had yet to eat at this restaurant, so it was new to us all. It was so fun; the restaurant over-looked the bay and was attached to the docks. There were sea-creatures painted all over the building, and the inside was decorated with all sorts of ocean gadgets. It was a treat, indeed!

They are such a beautiful couple!
My footprints...
Dominique's footprints...
I could write in the sand all day, what fun it is!

We spent about an hours hunting for sand dollars. Granny and Dominique came up with quite the collection.

It was a gorgeous day at the beach; it was so fun to share this time with Granny and Pappy!

Seagulls...
A beautiful bridge in which we crossed to come to the beach.

Tyler held Granny's hand the whole time we were driving, which was about an hour.
Dominique enjoying some hot-cocoa back at the camp-site.
...and of course we had pop-corn also, that is just a given.
I love this picture of Lauralee. Her heart is as big as her smile!
Oatmeal, grapes, and juice for breakfast. This is my kind of camping. We even got a fresh shower!
Our beautiful camp-site.
We are hidden and happy.
It all happened so fast; before we knew it, it was time to return home.
Good-byes are never fun, but a hug is always needed!

We had so much fun with Granny and Pappy and can't wait to see them again!
Thank you so much for enduring the dreadful drive to visit us. We will cherish it forever! As always, we miss and love you all!

  1. What a fun time we had! Everything is so brown and wintery here now - I can't believe how green it is over there.
