It was that time again, for swimming lessons. The kids went twice a week, for 8 weeks which included; 16-30 minutes sessions. They enjoyed every second and loved their instructors.
Our little Bass; Dominique jumped off the diving board, but my camera took too long, so I didn't quite catch her in action. (Next time!) Dominique is now able to; hold her breathe for 20 seconds, front glide with flutter kick for 15 feet, back glide for 12 feet, backstroke and flutter kick for 8 yards, back glide with kick for 12 feet, dive standing and sitting, side breathe, back crawl, tread water, and swim under water!!! I am amazed that she can back-float without moving her legs or arms for 40 seconds. It is truly amazing how fast she learns!
Our little tadpole; Tyler, is able to listen and follow directions, climb in and out of pool, put hisface in the water, clear water from his face and eyes, put his head underwater, hold his breathe for 3 seconds, and float on his front and back while be assisted. Tyler has a blast at swimming lessons, but doesn't really like to put his face in the water.
Granny was able to come and watch the kids swim. This was such a treat for us all!
Tyler listens so well and is very observant.
This little video is so cute; I love the "high-five" at the end!
That is so cool that they are learning to swim. Won't be long before they are winning medals and riboons!
