Tonight, after the kids had their baths, it was time to CARVE some PUMPKINS!!!
Dominique and Tyler weren't interested in taking the "pumpkin's guts" out.
Tyler waited patiently to see if Dominique was going to be brave, and stick her hand in the "yuck."
... and
Tyler tried so hard to be a "boy," but it was "too yucky."
So, I decided to lend a hand.
After a while Dominique dove in, but not before asking if she could use a napkin to remove innards...lol.
Now she is a carving pro!

The kids thought it was so neat to watch the pumpkins come to life.
We carved three pumpkins in all. I helped Tyler, and Kris and Dominique created their own pieces of art. FANTASTIC JOB GUYS!

I will agree that these are some pretty spooky pumpkins! we will be carving ours maybe tommorow? blake does NOT like to pull out the pumpkin guts either. :)
ReplyDeleteJosie was obsessed with all the pictures, she kept wanting me to stop and go back to look at all of them! Pumpkin guts are not my favorite thing either, glad you guys survived that part. Awesome final product, I especially loved that tall pumpkin..so cool!
